A single large circular polyp banded in several colours, concentrically or in radial spokes. MASTER IS A GRADE RATHER THAN A COLOUR, and a trade one with nobody behind it: four or more colours is the threshold most sellers use, or three in an exceptionally intricate pattern, but no authority sets that bar and vendors do not fully agree on it. Sold as whole animals; they are rarely cut.
Because they are not fragged, each one is unique and WYSIWYG is mandatory. Check the underside for skeleton damage from collection. Count the colours before paying master money: a handsome two-colour scoly is a scoly, and the grade is what the price is for.
