A. tortuosa with an olive to green base, purple corallites, and purple-blue tips radiating out from it, with green polyps between the branches. A long-circulating maricultured lineage that grows thick vertical branches.
Tortuosa colour up slowly. Judge a frag on encrusting and polyp extension in the first month, not on colour. The purple in the corallites and tips is the part that separates it from the green torts it sits beside.
