Sunkist Bounce
Rhodactis, a mushroom. Beginner to keep, typical PAR 40–90, low flow.
Collector tier: grail, where the trade ranks it from common through grail. In stock at 15 surveyed shops on 2026-10-19.
A dark blue to green base carrying intensely fluorescent orange bubbles. The orange is in the VESICLES, not the base, and against the blue-green is what carries the premium.
Before you buy one
Orange fades toward tan under too much light, and a washed-out Sunkist gets photographed under blues to hide it. Ask for full-spectrum. Nothing in a photo reliably separates it from an OG Bounce: both carry anything from a scatter of small bubbles to a few very large ones, and both are sold orange. The trade blurs the two constantly, and this site once blurred them too: 'Bounce Mushroom' as an alias made both morphs match the same listings. Buy the specimen in the photograph, from a seller who can name the grower it came from.
Keeping mushrooms
