A slender, openly branching Acropora valida, purple to violet through the branches with green polyps dense along every one. The third colour is the base, green to brown or cream, and the purple deepens toward the tips.
Three colours in three places: purple body, green polyps, green to brown base. A GARF Bonsai is the same species in purple with green polyps, but solid purple to the base in a tight bush; the Tri-Color fades to that lower colour and grows open. It browns out and loses its purple when light or chemistry shift. ORA, whose name it carries, says it sells several slightly different valida variants under the one name, and other farms grow their own, so it is not one clone.
