A Zoanthus morph built on contrast between the centre and the edge: a pale sky-blue to white centre around the mouth, on a steel-blue disc, running out to a rust-orange to red skirt of tentacles. Some lineages carry a green mouth in that blue centre. The polyps are mid-sized for a zoa and it grows quickly into a dense mat, which is why it is one of the cheapest named zoas in the trade and one of the most stocked.
Blue in the middle, fire at the edge, and the order matters. A Fire and Ice has the cool colour at the centre and the warm colour on the skirt; a zoa with an orange centre and a blue skirt is a different morph, whatever the label. The centre shifts between blue and near-white with lighting and nutrients, and the vendors describe it three different ways for that reason, so judge the disc and the skirt rather than the exact shade of the mouth. Under blues the disc reads electric blue and the skirt goes deep orange.
