Named by ORA. The name means their coral, and lineage back to them is what it is worth.

An Acropora with short, thin, delicate branches bristling with tubular corallites, a spiky bottlebrush shape. The whole body is teal to turquoise, and the branch tips turn purple under strong light. It has almost no protective slime coat.
Teal bottlebrush with purple tips. With no slime coat it dries out fast out of water and does not take iodine dips well, so ask the seller how it was dipped. It is often confused with Acropora turaki, which shares the colour and shape. ORA brought it from a German hobbyist in 2006 and named it after a facility manager, by the accounts of two shops; ORA no longer produces it, but it is widely re-fragged. It is not an acan despite the word echinata.
