Hologram Hammer

Hologram Hammer, a reference illustration of the classic phenotype rather than a photograph of one coral

Fimbriaphyllia, an euphyllia. Beginner to keep, typical PAR 80–150, low to moderate flow.

Also sold as Hologram Branching Hammer.

A loose trade name. Sellers use it loosely, so trust the photo over the label.

Collector tier: uncommon, where the trade ranks it from common through grail. In stock at 19 surveyed shops on 2026-10-19.

A hammer named for colour that shifts along each tentacle, multi-toned and shimmering under blue-heavy light. One shop describes green tentacles whose tips grade from yellow to purple; another lists gold, teal, lavender and metallic green, changing with the light. The name is sold on both wall and branching hammers.

Before you buy one

Only two shops say what colours it is, and they do not describe the same pattern, so buy the head in the photograph. Ask whether it is wall or branching: one farm sells a wall Hologram, other shops sell a Hologram Branching Hammer, and the two are different skeletons. The farm that grows the wall form also says heavy royal blue washes the sheen out, so a deep-blue photo may not match your tank.

Keeping Euphyllia

Space to sweep, because the tentacles reach further than they look. Hologram Hammer is beginner to keep at a typical PAR of 80–150 in low to moderate flow. A typical starting range for this type of coral, not measured on this one.

What Hologram Hammer goes for

No verified sales yet. A range publishes once 3 dated, checkable records from 3 different sources exist, priced per head and reported as a median, with what shops ask kept separate from what buyers paid. Shops are typically asking $55 to $111 per head, median $80, across 19 shops surveyed on 2026-10-19; the full sweep ran $28 to $151. Asking prices are what sellers want, not what buyers paid.
