A Discosoma mushroom with a yellow to golden ground, sometimes yellowish green, splattered and marbled with red in no repeating pattern. The mouth is red or the ground colour, and red tends to take over more of the disc as it ages.
Read the ground between the markings: gold to yellow is an Eclectus, golden orange is a Jawbreaker. An Eclectus is also less likely to pick up colours beyond red, where an older Jawbreaker grows green and purple. It came from a handful of rocks collected in Indonesia and exported by Bali Aquarium in 2015, a Jawbreaker relative, and it is widely sold as Eclectus Jawbreaker. Some European shops use Electus for batches that also carry the Candy Crush name, so buy the leaf in the photograph.
