Concentric rings read from the mouth outward: a grey-purple mouth, a bright orange ring around it, a vivid green disc, then a yellow-green skirt of tentacles. The orange ring against the green is what carries the name.
Widely propagated and cheap enough that fakes aren't worth anyone's effort. Judge the polyp, not the seller: colour holds under moderate light and washes out under too much. If the orange ring is missing, it is a different green zoa.
